Veuve Nature Reserve

The Veuve Nature Reserve, located in Anse Réunion on La Digue Island, Seychelles, is a sanctuary for the critically endangered Seychelles Black Paradise Flycatcher. Locally known as “Veuve” (meaning “widow” in French), this rare bird is found exclusively on La Digue, making the reserve a vital habitat for its survival.
